Holmdel, New Jersey is a town in Monmouth county, New Jersey, USA.  The town of Holmdel was incorporated in 1883. The location of the town is very strategic with regard to New Jersey’s northern shore. It is situated on Long Point Island in the Atlantic Ocean and is about 20 miles off the coast of New Jersey. Holmdel has a wide variety of shops and restaurants located along the beach. Today, it is known as one of the best small towns and suburbs in New Jersey with its rich and diverse cultural heritage.
